No Potomac Pipeline Washington County Volunteer Meeting

  • Washington County Free Library 100 S Potomac St Hagerstown, MD 21740 United States (map)

After a historic fracking ban victory, Maryland is once again being threatened by fracked gas. TransCanada is proposing a fracked-gas pipeline that would cross through Hancock and run underneath America’s River: the Potomac. This proposed pipeline would threaten the drinking water of over a 100,000 residents in the surrounding region and lock us into dirty fossil fuel production for decades to come.

And we’re not going to let this happen.

At the meeting we will talk about ways that we can raise our voices in our local communities by reaching out to our neighbors, talking to local elected officials and making sure that Governor Hogan hears loud and clear that Marylanders say NO to a fracked-gas pipeline under the Potomac.

RSVP today to join us on November 8, at 6:30 p.m. to learn how you can become part of a pipe-line free future for Maryland!
